Award winning Brazilian author, director and producer Marcos DeBrito’s (Uninverso, Western Bossa Nova) latest independent feature film ‘Condado Macabro’, a horror thriller infused with blood and a good dose of humor is completed. Today we have for you the first official poster artwork for the film Marcos himself describes as “Horror-Gore-Trash”. Come on inside and check it out.
Hideous crimes occur in a big house near the forest, where a group of young people who rented the house are spending their holiday. A clown covered in blood is found near the crime scene and questioned by an investigator from the small town. He and his partner apparently committed several crimes in the area, but the police has so far been unable to find evidences to incriminate him.
‘Condado Macabro’ is full of references to classic horror films from the 1980s, which should make for an interesting combination of suspense, blood and humor. Although ‘Condado Macabro’ will soon be completed, a release date has not been set at this time.
Brace yourselves for ‘Condado Macabro’ as talks with distribution companies will start in the very near future and the film will be submitted international festivals.
