NEWS: Epic Pictures Group unleashed ‘Zombeavers’

A lot of critters seem to have been the material for horror film. It all started with what many people are afraid of: Spiders. While these crawlies are still a genre favorite, it seems more and more fluffy and cute animals have fallen victim to a zombie outbreak over the last couple of years. The latest casualty: our dam building furry friend, the Beaver. Director and co-writer Jordan Rubin, along with co-writers Al and Jon Kaplan set out a while ago to expose the real face of the busy little rodent and what might happen if they, instead of humanity, are infected by a zombifying virus. Today, we have the first trailer for you inside.
‘Zombeavers’ is an action-packed horror comedy in which a group of college kids staying at a riverside cabin are menaced by a swarm of deadly zombie beavers. A weekend of sex and debauchery soon turns gruesome as the beavers close in on the kids. Riding the line between scary, sexy and funny, the kids are soon fighting for their lives in a desperate attempt to fend off the hoard of beavers that attack them in and around their cabin.
‘Zombeavers’, from the producers of ‘American Pie’, ‘We’re the Millers’, ‘The Ring’, and ‘Cabin Fever’, produced by Armory Films and BenderSpink, starring Bill Burr, Cortney Palm and Rachel Melvin, will premiere at the European Film Market in Berlin.
