Condado Macabro – 2012

Award winning author, director and producer Marcos DeBrito (Uninverso, Western Bossa Nova) is about to release his latest work, ‘Condado Macabro’, a Brazilian feature-length horror thriller infused with blood and a good dose of humor. He himself describes the character of the project, produced by Adriano Lily, as “Horror-Gore-Trash”. Watch the first teaser and have a look at some promising behind the scenes photos!

Hideous crimes occur in a big house near the forest, where a group of young people who rented the house are spending their holiday. A clown covered in blood is found near the crime scene and questioned by an investigator from the small town. He and his partner apparently committed several crimes in the area, but the police has so far been unable to find evidences to incriminate him.

‘Condado Macabro’ is full of references to classic horror films from the 1980s, which should make for an interesting combination of suspense, blood and humor. Although ‘Condado Macabro’ will soon be completed, a release date has not been set at this time.
