Judas Ghost – 2013

From Falling Shadows Productions comes the new supernatural horror film ‘Judas Ghost’, an original film and the first movie by British New York Times Best-Selling author Simon R. Green, directed by Simon Pearce. The story is based on his series of ‘Ghost Finder’ novels, a book series that follows the supernatural encounters of a team of ghost finders working for a secret organisation. The series started with ‘Ghost of a Chance’ in 2010, and was followed by ‘Ghost of a Smile’ the next year. The third book in the series, ‘Ghost of a Dream’, was released in August this year (2012). We have the brand new trailer for yo inside.

The Carnacki Institute exists to Do Something about ghosts. When reports of the supernatural from an old village hall point to an apparently standard haunting, an elite team of Ghost Finders is dispatched to assess the situation. The team of four includes a cameraman and former Ghost Finder from the Carnacki Institute, who is there to document events as a training tool for new recruits.

But things go from bad to worse when it becomes clear that they are facing something far more sinister than they first anticipated. The hall harbours a dark secret, and the team must use every trick they know to try and get out of there alive. Three men and one woman who think they’ve seen it all. That is, until they encounter the chilling Judas Ghost… Who will survive and what will be left of their souls?

‘Judas Ghost starrs Martin Delaney (Zero Dark Thirty, Beowulf & Grendel, Flags of our Fathers, The Shadow Line, Stormhouse), Lucy Cudden (Chemical Wedding, The Wrong Door, Wounded), Simon Merrells  (Spartacus, Invisible Eyes, The Wolfman, Ashes to Ashes, Doctors), Alexander Perkins (The Office, Foyle’s War, Law & Order: UK, Hollyoaks), and Grahame Fox who plays DS Gavin Cook in Casualty and recently played alongside Ralph Fiennes in Trevor Nunn’s The Tempest at the Haymarket Theatre and has just been cast in Ralph’s next feature film ‘The Invisible Woman’.

‘Judas Ghost’ is produced by Wolfram Parge, executive producer Steve Lovett, co-producer Robert Shulevitzs and the Aassociate producer is Charles Myers. Filmed at Vision Studions, Portishead, and on location in and around Bristol, UK.
