Satans SlaveHorror Channel will be serving up seven horrific premieres during April, including the network premieres of Tom Shankland’s gripping film noir serial killer shocker ‘WAZ’ starring Stellan Skarsgard, Tom Hardy and Selma Blair, as well as David Keating’s deadly supernatural drama ‘Wake Wood’ with Timothy Spall. There is also a UK premiere for Eric England’s edge-of-your-seat chill ride ‘Roadside’. Furtyher network premieres for April are Neil McEnery-West’s terrifying panic-thriller ‘Containment’, and William Malone’s gory remake of ‘House on Haunted Hill’ starring Geoffrey Rush, Famke Janssen and Ali Larter. NEWS: Filmmaker Patricia Chica To Screen ‘A Tricky Treat’ At Days Of The Dead, Join Etheria Film Panel

Patricia Chica‘Days of the Dead’ invades Los Angeles, CA from April 1 to the 3, and features one of the most diverse guest lists of any horror convention in the country. This year’s guests also include Canadian film director Patricia Chica who is known for her award-winning horror and fantasy films ‘Ceramic Tango’, ‘Serpent’s Lullaby’ and ‘A Tricky Treat’. Patricia has been programmed by the curators of the Etheria Film Night (Heidi Honeycutt and Stacy Pippi Hammon) to screen ‘A Tricky Treat’ and participate in a panel full of other outstanding female directors who will discuss their creative process and talk about the craft of making scary movies. WATCH: Get Hammer’d On Horror Channel UK This Easter

The Evil of FrankensteinHammer film fans are in for a treat: Horror Channel will be screening an Easter Hammerthon with back-to-back Hammer classics. (What did you think we were referring to?)  Some of Hammer’s most popular films, including ‘The Revenge Of Frankenstein’, ‘The Devil Rides Out’ and ‘The Brides Of Dracula’ will be broadcast over the weekend from 3:00pm to 10:00pm on Saturday 26 March and Sunday 27 March. If you’re not addicted to HAmmer films yet, this should do the trick. But don’t worry, Horror Channel will be presenting Hammer Thursdays from 7 April for six weeks with a Hammer movie at 9:00pm followed by a double-bill of ‘Hammer House Of Horror’ at 10:50pm. VueFrightFest, the UK’s biggest and most popular genre film festival, will relocate to the Vue Shepherd’s Bush for its annual five day August Bank Holiday event, taking over all twelve screens from 25 August to 29 August.
